| The iP6000D
incorporates Canon’s latest fully patented innovation,
Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE)
technology print heads. FINE print heads are
manufactured using technology adapted from Canon’s expertise in
manufacturing sub-micron integrated circuits. FINE print heads
feature ink nozzles with tolerances many times finer than a
human hair. These high-density nozzles eject millions of minute
ink droplets each second with a microscopic precision simply not
possible with traditional print heads, which are assembled from
multiple parts. |

| The FINE print
head on the iP6000D ejects an optimum combination of 2 and 5
picolitre ink droplets for high image quality and high-speed
printing. Droplet placement is microscopically precise, thanks
to Canon’s Advanced Dot-Control Technology, allowing the iP6000D
to print 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution. Photos display a naturally
smooth tonality without graininess across an entire spectrum of
colour gradations. |

| With its
advanced 6-colour ink system, the iP6000D prints wonderfully
vivid photographs. And because it uses Canon’s Individual Ink
Tank System, you replace only those colours that have been
depleted so you won’t waste a drop of ink. In addition, the
advanced ink detection system only permits a print job to be
started if there is sufficient ink to complete it. |

| With its
1536-nozzle FINE print head, the iP6000D can print out a
dazzling A4-sized photo in approximately 2.5 minutes. It has a
4-motor, independent-drive paper feed mechanism that enables it
to print 11 ppm monochrome and 9 ppm colour. |

| Print directly
from a variety of memory cards, including CF, Microdrive, Smart
Media, Memory Stick, Memory Stick DUO, Memory Stick PRO, Memory
Stick DUO PRO*, SD Card, Mini SD Card*, Multimedia Card, xD-Picture
Card*. The iP6000D has an in-built 2.5” colour screen for
previewing pictures; an image search function; and a colour
balance adjustment function.

PictBridge or Bubble Jet Direct compatible digital camera or

| The Auto Duplex
Printing function allows you to easily create double sided,
professional looking documents and great looking photo albums.
